This testimonial is long overdue. Better late than never. Dr Kastner and her entire staff are amazing! They genuinely care for their patients and their families. My family and I moved to town over 10 years ago and decided to take our 2 Goldens for their annual exam. Well, a few years ago our Lauren was diagnosed with mast cell colon cancer. Dr. Kastner and her staff checked in weekly to see how she and we were doing. When she passed the office staff was very supportive and when it came down to losing our girl, Casey, the office was amazing again. We now have 3 dogs and 2 cats. I can't imagine going to another vet office. They are so accommodating and caring and eager to help. I just cannot say enough good about them. I always tell friends to bring their fur babies there for their care. So, if you are debating whether or not to use this office I'll tell you to do so. You will never be disappointed. :)

When looking for pet care closer to home, I need to find a practice group able to care for my senior cat and my cat with mild neurological damage. I found that at Park Street. Dr. Kastner and her team have always treated us with kindness, care, and the greatest respect. Our care is always team care (me and the cats). I am so very fortunate to have this amazing group of professionals so close by.

Just wanted to share with you how well our cat Grady is doing after just three visits for acupuncture. I was concerned because Grady was gimping around the house and lost his enthusiasm to eat (unprecedented) … So I brought him in. After the third visit I got him home and let him out of his carrier. Instead of trotting off in a post vet visit huff, he started rubbing all over me and plopped down for a petting … amazing!! He is doing much better and back to chasing Henry! Poor Henry!! Thank you for helping Grady get back to his charming rascally self again.

(note sent to clinic) To all the good people at Park Street Vet Clinic, This is Kili Hasan...A few days ago I had to come in and be treated for a tartar build up in my k9 teeth. I was very afraid since I do not like to be poked or not in control of my senses. Now I am feeling much better and people say I have a much better smile, especially my k9 sparkles when I smile. I have been getting much desired attention from the population when my mom takes me to the park. I would like to thank the good people at Park Street Vet Clinic for taking such good care of me. I was feeling pretty out of it when I came to my senses after the cleanup and I was scared. But when I was allowed around the front desk, I started to feel much better. As a matter of fact, I jumped on the receptionist's lap and they let me. I was thrilled. Thank you very much for being so kind to me. I hope to visit, and ONLY visit, someday real soon. Your truly, Kili Hasan

Because of ACUPUNCTURE, we got to celebrate Sparky's 14th birthday, our MIRACLE DOG! Diagnosed with a tumor and blockage Dec 2009 (at Woburn 24hr emergency) he was not expected to live long. But he did!

In Oct 2010, he seemed a little off, so after another ultrasound look, we were advised to try acupuncture with Dr. Kastner @ Park St Vet. After 3-4 visits, I noticed that his pale tongue and gums regained a normal color. Dr. Kastner also prescribed an herb to help with blood flow.

In May 2011, we did an ultrasound in Boston and were told the tumor has greatly spread and he now has days, weeks, no more than a month. We were crushed. Meeting Sparky, you would never know there is anything going on. Well, Sparky proved them wrong, because he had a great summer!

The acupuncture he receives @ Park St keeps Sparky's blood flowing well, energy level up, he is still jumping, enjoying his daily walks, eating great and doesn't appear to be in any discomfort. We are completely convinced he would not be with us today without his acupuncture! The entire staff at Park St vet are wonderful to work with, very friendly, knowledgeable and compassionate. They have helped make our Sparky a miracle and we feel very blessed to have him in their care. Thank you Park St Vet!

(Note sent to clinic) Dear Dr. Kastner, Dr. Gifford and everyone at Park Street Vet, Thank you so much for everything that you did for Tula these past six months, and for helping us learn how to take care of an aging, ailing cat for the first time. Your patience, advice, attention to detail, encouragement, knowledge, thoughtfulness, and empathy really meant the world to us - all along the way, but particularly in Tula's last days when we had to make one of the more painful decisions in our lives to date. You helped us to feel like we were making the right decision and didn't leave us second-guessing ourselves - quite a relief at such a hard time. That morning we felt lucky to see familiar, supportive faces and that certainly helped to take the edge off. Thank you for all you did to make us feel at ease in those sad minutes.... Fondly, Amy, Matt & Norah

(Note sent to clinic) Dear Dr. Kastner and all the wonderful women who work at Park St. Vet, I wanted to thank you so much for your kindness, sensitivity and professionalism when we brought Brisco in to say goodbye. You made him feel so comfortable and at ease; since we had to say goodbye it was such a peaceful end for him. It has been such a comfort to me. I cannot express how much I appreciated it. Brisco went to many vets over the years but he never learned to relax until he was under your calm, compassionate care. Thank you so much, Andrea & Tom
