Dr. Revital Kastner

Owner and Veterinarian

Dr. Revital “Tali” Kastner is the owner of Park Street Veterinary Clinic. She is a 2003 graduate of Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine. She is also certified in acupuncture through the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS), and Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine and Medical Manipulation (chiropractic) through the Chi Institute. Dr. Kastner completed her undergraduate studies at Brandeis University in Waltham, MA, with a double major in Psychology and Neuroscience with the plan to study psychiatry. However, she inevitably could not imagine not caring for animals over humans. Dr. Kastner is a member of the American and Massachusetts Veterinary Medical Associations as well as the American Association of Veterinary Acupuncture and International Veterinary Acupuncture Society.

Dr. Kastner particularly enjoys blending traditional Western medicine with complementary Eastern techniques. She loves managing internal medicine and behavior cases where she can partner with owners to improve their pet’s quality of life. She has many long-term, devoted clients whose pets she has cared for since puppy and kittenhood.

Dr. Kastner and her husband are kept busy with their two children and currently share their home with their two dogs, Bongo and Ozzie. In her downtime, her guilty pleasure is binging supernatural/sci-fi television series or vacationing on a warm, sandy beach.

Dr. Kristen Manse

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Kristen Manse is a California-native who relocated to New England after meeting her husband in veterinary school. While she had originally intended on becoming a nurse, Dr. Manse always loved animals and soon realized she had to pursue a career caring for pets instead of humans. Now she can’t imagine doing anything else! She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Systems Physiology from San Jose State University and went on to finish her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at UC Davis.

Dr. Manse has a strong interest in surgery and dentistry. She is currently pursuing advanced training in dentistry and has incorporated dental radiographs and surgical extractions into her standard of care for her patients. She feels that learning to sew from her mom, and woodworking from her dad, had a strong influence on her surgical interests as a veterinarian. Dr. Manse is also certified in Veterinary Medical Acupuncture and enjoys offering this as an adjunctive service to her clients.

The Manse’s have a beautiful daughter named Violet, a Doberman Pinscher named Dash, and 2 kitties named Nico and Darius. In her free time, Dr. Manse enjoys cooking and especially baking. Some of her favorites to bake include jam-filled thumbprint cookies and lavender cheesecake. She is currently trying to master the macaron.

Sheri

Director of Operations

If you recognize Sheri, it’s because she has been loyally serving the clients of Park Street Veterinary Clinic since June of 1998! Sheri grew up in North Reading and earned a Bachelor in Animal Science at UMass Amherst. In addition to her dedication to your pets at the clinic, she also frequently pet sits for dogs at her home so you will probably find another dog (or two) at her home. On her days off, Sheri can often be found on a ball field watching her son, Dylan, play one of the many sports he is involved in. She enjoys walking on the beach and seeing the beautiful sunsets. Sheri shares her home with her son and her dog, Kaya.

Lauren

She oversees the social media for the clinic so be sure to check out our Instagram and Facebook accounts! She obtained a Bachelor’s in Psychology prior to starting at PSVC in 2010. When Lauren isn’t at the clinic or doing her pet sitting, she enjoys reading/listening to horror books and watching scary movies. Her absolute favorite time of the year is the fall when she will be sure to attend every possible haunted house during the Halloween season. Through her life, Lauren has had many pets like cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, leopard geckos, fish, a hedgehog, and a mouse.

Amanda

Veterinary Assistant, Surgery Technician

Amanda started her animal career as a kennel attendant and thanks to skills obtained while attending Essex Agricultural and Technical High School as well as her knack for animal handling she has progressed to be one of our valuable veterinary assistants. She originally visited Park Street as a client and impressed us with her knowledge and dedication so much that during an acupuncture appointment for her late pup, Tiger, we recruited her to work with us. Amanda has grown up with animals and has a particular love of wildlife. Amanda’s idea of a perfect morning is a walk through the woods with her two dogs, Gator and Mara, and getting some great photography shots of any wildlife she sees along the way.

Adriana

Veterinary Assistant

Adriana graduated from Essex North Shore Agricultural and Technical School where she was part of the Companion Animals CTE program. Adriana started working at PSVC in 2020 as part of a co-op program through her school. Adriana is now a biology student at UMass Lowell and when she isn’t working hard on her studies, she helps us at PSVC. She is a hard worker and we are glad she can still help out. Adriana enjoys camping trips and spending time with her dog, Nala, and two rabbits, Peanut and Buddy.

Marie

Veterinary Assistant

Marie has a long history working with many species of animals including PetSmart, the Museum of Science, and the Lowell Humane Society. Marie is fondly referred to as our “chihuahua whisperer” and she is often the first to make friends with a scared or nervous patient. Marie’s crew at home includes many dogs, cats, birds, and reptiles. She enjoys science fiction and historical fantasy reads and loves doing arts and crafts and going kayaking.

Carolyn

Veterinary Assistant

Carolyn grew up in New York and attended the University of Rhode Island to obtain a bachelor’s degree in Resource Development and Wildlife Biology. After moving to Massachusetts, she became a park ranger at Plum Island’s Parker River National Wildlife Refuge. A change in career led Carolyn to pursue her veterinary technician certification and was in the field for ten years. Carolyn stopped working for some time to become a mother to her 3 daughters. They have a dog named Gina, a bunny named Scarlett, 2 hamsters, and a brood of hens. Carolyn enjoys going horseback riding every Saturday and loves camping and hiking.

Gator

Official Branch Manager

Gator has been coming to work at PSVC since he was a mere 9 weeks old. He has worked his way up from general greeter to official branch manager and thoroughly enjoys his job comforting the staff and bringing joy to all those who walk in the door. You may see him at the front desk or on the exam room scale begging for treats.

She and her husband share their home with their dog, Gracie, and their 3 cats, Sheba, Aravis, and Remus.
